About Us

Drighlington BC, is a cycling club with membership predominantly based around Leeds, but extending across all parts of West Yorkshire.We are not a large club, with around 20 members. Most of our members are active racing cyclists, competing in various time trial and cyclo-cross events.

We are a welcoming friendly club and are always on the lookout for new members. If you are interested in joining please contact us through the website here.

There are a range of abilities in the club, from people who are new to competitive cycling to experienced time trialers who can give anyone wanting to learn more about the sport useful advice. All levels of experience and fitness are catered for and supported.

Many races up and down the country were cancelled last year due to heavy rain falls and flooding. The same fate fell on the Club's slowest 120 event in August.

With the agreement of all entrants the Club made a generous donation of £756 to the Yourkshire Air Ambalance. It was gratefully received - those thanks are conveyed to all the competitors who made the donation possible.
