The day they went to Carlisle!

It was a Thursday morning in September when Mick, Eddy and Ian set off from Settle to Carlisle, approximately 82 miles. There were showers, wind and a little sun. This is a old run which Mick and others did every year in February. Mick's last one was ten years ago! Dent climb was a killer as Eddy found out. He punctured!!! The half way stop was at the Moorcock. That's where they used to stop. Nothing has changed inside, only the price! On te train back home Eddy was hard on! Mick and Ian got off and cycled from Bingley .... One fantastic day out. Cheers Mick....the girls didn't miss their hubbys in Carlisle, having a drink or 2 or 3!
