Club AGM 17 October 2011
Highlights - Probably the most significant was the announcement that Bryan Peel will finally stand down as Club Secretary after 56 years of service - an incredible achievement that will probably never be surpassed. Sunday Club runs will start at 9.00 am (there will now be only one group again). In the absence of Mick Phillips, Dave Fitzpatrick and Nathan Smith are to record attendance points. A Club Run working party (Dave Fitzpatrick, Stan Land, Tony Firth, Wayne Fitch, Steve Vare, and Ian Hutchinson) will try and tackle some of the age old Club run problems (start times, speed, groups, destinations) and report back to a future meeting.
Election of other Club roles were; Club Secretary - Mark Woolley; and Website Development - Gary Rhodes. The final Sunday Club Run points were announced; congratulations to Mick Phillips on 99, Nathan Smith on 93, Dave Fitzpatrick on 64 and Wayne Fitch on 60 points. There is the possibility of a Club kit sponsor - Chris Danby is investigating for the next meeting. Subs are due for those who did not pay on the night at £10 for the year (to Mark Woolley). Finally the end of season bash around Morley is likely to be Friday 4 November from the Nelson - Dave Fitzpatrick to organise and post details on Message Board.
