Dave Fitzpatrick came home with a little less skin than he went with, after sliding off on loose gravel on a sharp corner in deepest Wakefield - Menchov style - at first we thought he'd drown in 6 feet of water - but that was just his glasses he lost in the fall. He's now trying to sue Wakefeild Council for poor road maintenance!

Club records have been tumbling of late - Could this be another one - Ian Mortimer managed 4 separate punctures in one ride (admittedly one was down to hastey workmanship, nipping the tube getting the tyre back on). It ended in Louise coming to his rescue and giving him a lift home, after we ran out of inner tubes! Those Saxo Bank tyres again! He did raise a smile.

David Todd, that well known and respected member (!), has sent in some biking favourites. First you can see him and the family lost in France (but not for long), then doing a bit of mountain biking (for fun - is that "The Stig" in there some where?), and finally Dave and Philip getting down to some racing. Oh, and I nearly forgot - the old and new Ferrari's !!!
